Two of my cousins suggested going to bugis so we came up with an objective; to try the food at MOF (Ministry of Food)
Coincidentally, I'm working on a school project which is related to food so I'll give a small review my lunch.
Scrumptious seafood set with crispy prawns!
Simply wow.
The taste of the rice isn't just any ordinary taste. Even the soup is nicely seasoned unlike the ones you find in kopitiams-- where they put a crap load of MSGs.
In the pot: You can find traces of scattered eggs, pieces of cut up squid, a few oysters, small slices of mushrooms and some prawns.
The gravy is quite addictive as well.
On the plate: Basically the crispy stuffs. Shrimps, potato, some kind of chilli thingy? Yep, all crispified!
ALS Rating: 7.5/10 (Definitely will go for it again, but it's kinda pricey)
苺かき氷を一杯ください。 (Strawberry Ice cream)
This is very similar to our local dessert, the ice kachang. But this time, it's a mix of both ice cream and ice kachang. Each ice kachang order also comes with a free flow of syrup. I think you are supposed to adjust the sweetness of the dessert to your own liking.
The texture of the cream is slightly above average standard and the strawberries are a bonus.

Overall, I think the atmosphere is bright but quite quiet, if not too quiet. It felt like we were the only ones talking away at the restaurant. The seats are quite comfortable however I think the table could've been a little more spacious. Quite pricey but the food there is worthed it. (They have the student discount too during the afternoons)
